Introduction This Privacy Policy describes how Constend ("we", "us", or "our"), the company behind Vobbin, collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Services"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using Vobbin. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Vobbin is a personal health intelligence app. Because we handle sensitive health data, we take privacy seriously. Our commitment is simple: your data exists to help you, not to serve us. Information We Collect Information You Provide When you create an account and use Vobbin, we collect: • Account information: your name and email address • Manual health logs: workouts, water intake, activities, and other data you enter directly • Cycle and reproductive health data, if you choose to enable cycle tracking Health Data from Apple HealthKit With your permission, Vobbin connects to Apple HealthKit to import health signals including sleep data, heart rate, activity, respiratory rate, and other metrics you authorise. This data is used solely to power your Vobbin experience. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy. Payment Information Vobbin Plus subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment transactions are handled entirely by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies. Analytics and Crash Reporting We use Mixpanel to understand how people use Vobbin so we can improve the product. We use Sentry to detect and fix crashes. Neither service receives your personal health data or any personally identifiable health information. Analytics data is collected in aggregate and anonymised form. Device and Usage Information We may collect basic device and usage information such as app version, operating system, and interaction patterns. This helps us maintain and improve the Services. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to: • Provide, personalise, and improve the Vobbin experience • Compute your recovery/energy scores, recovery insights, and daily guidance • Power the Vobbin AI chat when you use that feature • Maintain your account and sync data across your devices • Detect and fix bugs and crashes • Understand how people use Vobbin to make it better We do not use your health data for advertising. We do not sell your data. AI Features and Health Data Vobbin includes an AI-powered chat feature that can answer questions about your health data. When you use the AI chat in data-aware mode, relevant portions of your health data are sent to a third-party large language model provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate a response. You are in control of what the AI can access. Within the app, you can choose which data categories are shared with the AI. By default, cycle and reproductive health data is not shared with the AI unless you explicitly enable it. Health data sent to AI providers is used solely to generate your response. We share only the minimum data necessary. We do not use your data to train AI models. The AI in Vobbin is designed to provide informational and fitness-focused guidance. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. Reproductive and Cycle Health Data We treat cycle and reproductive health data with extra care. Specifically: • Cycle data is not shared with the AI by default. You must opt in explicitly to enable this. • We will never use reproductive health data for advertising or marketing purposes. • We will not share reproductive health data with third parties except: (i) as strictly necessary to provide a feature you have explicitly opted into, under confidentiality obligations; or (ii) where legally compelled by a court order or equivalent legal process, and we will notify you to the extent permitted by law. How We Store Your Data Vobbin uses the following infrastructure to store and process your data: • Supabase: managed PostgreSQL database and authentication, used to store your account information, manual logs, and synced health data • Railway: our FastAPI backend server, used for score computation, AI orchestration, and data processing Your data is stored on servers that may be located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. By using Vobbin, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in these locations. How We Share Your Information We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances: • Service providers: with Supabase, Railway, Mixpanel, and Sentry, strictly to operate and improve the Services. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes. • AI providers: with our large language model partners, when you use the AI chat feature, limited to what is needed to generate your response. • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority. • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the company, your data may be transferred to the relevant parties, who will be required to honour this Privacy Policy. • With your consent: for any other purpose you explicitly agree to. Your Choices and Rights You have the following rights over your data: • Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. • Correction: you can ask us to correct inaccurate information. • Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Note that some data may be retained where legally required. • AI data control: you can choose which health data categories are accessible to the AI feature at any time from within the app. • Opt out of analytics: you can request to be excluded from analytics tracking by contacting us. Data Retention We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to fulfil any outstanding obligations. Specifically: • Account and profile data is retained while your account is active. • Health data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. • AI conversation data that includes health information may be retained for up to 30 days for quality assurance, then deleted. Conversation history itself is retained until you request deletion. • Anonymised and aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you. Children Vobbin is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. Security We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Vobbin after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
